Vanessa Neustrom (MSW, LCSW) earned her MSW from UNC-Chapel Hill in 2002. She has worked in healthcare and mental health care for the past 15 years in the Chapel Hill/Carrboro area. She is a parishioner at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. She will introduce the role of social workers in the inpatient and outpatient healthcare system as well as the mental health care system. Her goal is to share tips and ideas on how to get your needs met when seeking routine or urgent healthcare.
